Main Street Designs of Georgia, LLC (MSD) is a residential design firm located in Alpharetta, GA. Our firm provides residential home design, construction documents, exterior color selections and artwork graphics services to the largest production builders in the United States.

Our Current Available Positions

Entry Level Residential Project Captain

This full-time position provides a competitive salary. Compensation is commensurate to the level of experience. On the job training provided for the right candidate with a love for residential drafting.

Qualifications:

Work experience and/or formal training in residential product drafting and development
Proficiency in AutoCAD / AutoCAD Architecture
The desire to learn, grow, and be part of a great team
Associates degree or higher in Architecture, Drafting/Design or related discipline (Preferred)

Responsibilities:

Development and maintenance of residential construction documents
Generate lot specific plan sets from master plan set and selections
Brochure floor plans and elevations
Review completed projects for accuracy and quality

Skills:

Communication
Drafting and a healthy understanding of construction documents
Knowledge of single-family and multi-family residential construction
Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
Time management to meet multiple deadlines
Artistic / Creative
Rendering capabilities 2D or 3D (a plus)
An eye for exterior colors (a plus)

AutoCAD Architectural
Design Review

Photoshop (a plus)
